About Me
Hi, I’m Brian Azzopardi.
I am a lot of things: a thinker, intellectually curious about human nature and technology. I love designing and building things, whether its is a virtual windtunnel, or a political philosophy.
I read Economics and Public Policy at the University of Malta and have a keen interest in political philosophy, Asian thought and international affairs.
I love being part of the Product Management team at GFI. Its very challenging and high pressure but it is very rewarding and I love every minute of it. Before that, I was a senior C++ developer on the messaging and content products of GFI. I also did a lot of research at GFI, especially in the areas of email and anti-spam. Quite a leap from coder to product management…
I’ve written code for more than 8 years and have coded everything from an airfoil data convertor in Perl, to a popular plugin (10,000 downloads+) for Google Desktop in C++/COM, kernel level code for Linux, FreeBSD and Windows (good ole’ C).
